Letter : Goshen, [Ohio], to [John Gottlieb Ernestus] Heckewelder, [Gnadenhutten, Ohio], 1801 Sept. 5.

September 5, 1801 letter to Brother Heckewelder, who had returned to Gnadenhutten that year to administer the Indian estate on the Tuscarawas that was held in trust for the benefit of the former residents of the mission, mainly regarding routine matters including the exchange of German newspapers, the gift of a turkey, and a request for butter, if available.
